gmail is better because when you go onto your laptop on the side of your computer something pops up when you get a new message

@Abiyahu It works for me. Though that must be because I am using Firefox.

@xnastyGee I have a Hotmail (AKA MSN). I am fine with it. It rocks IMHO.

  7. Abiyahu - May 11, 2010 at 6:54 pm

@Inuboy1000 Hotmail doesn’t work properly if ur using a Mac

  8. xnastyGee - May 11, 2010 at 7:42 pm

Yahoo page doesnt load on my high speed internet. Google doesnt get mail sometimes. THEY BOTH SUCK. Im trying out MSN to see how that works I heard it was good.

I have both Yahoo and Gmail (switched to a new Gmail and to a new Yahoo not so long ago). However I use Hotmail as my main email. So who cares about Yahoo or Google? :P

The reason Google wont assign a help team to help people on a 40 hour per week basis is the same reason Apple doesn’t furnish their techs with Remote Access: because it would eat into their “tiny” profit. Oh i forgot excuse me Google is new startup company that has limited financial resources. Email I recomend: i use the one the you the reader uses dont matter all i care bout is good tech support cuz big business U.S. companies like G emphasize profit way far more than tech support 4 u, me, mom

  12. AcuteAnalogy - May 11, 2010 at 10:43 pm

But…thats the way of the Internet. Soon Google employee will come along and say “I dont work for Google, AcuteAnalogy needs to get a life cause i been to Gmails help forum & they answer every question in promptly they are great company & i dont work for them!” That’s the way of the Internet but we no that. My point: Google needs to give back to the people who put them on the map. They need to dedicate a team to their help forum space prevents me from elaborating lets just say that things need

At least Yahoo has phone number/people you can call when your box breaks/fails or they did last time i called them 6 months ago Pretty incredible when you consider its free service The service provided by Yahoos team is like that of Apple/Dell etc sometimes good other times very very bad but at least you can call them & get help when your email box fails. Called Google twice each time on hold for 60 plus mins & they never did pick up. Companies like G get away with bad ‘service’ CAUSE THEY CAN

  14. AcuteAnalogy - May 12, 2010 at 12:20 am

Go ahead & say Gmail is free therefore Google doesn’t need to dedicate a team of workers to man their help forum WRONG! Google makes money off everyone who visits them its all bout traffic Pirillo biased Average mother doesnt have son who’s IT savvy! Average computer users outnumber tekkies 1000 to 1. Ever see Googles home? Just like Disneyland! Best email: like presidential candidates take the best of the worst while Google laugh$ all the way to bank Lots of issues in G’s help forum unattended!

  15. AcuteAnalogy - May 12, 2010 at 1:04 am

Google/Gmail is a very bad company for average regular everyday people Like so many other tech items Gmail runs great for months then it might fail requiring professional help Go 2 their forum and Google techs are MIA!! Why??? Google rules/has unlimited funds but they dont help good average working people who need help!! 2day email more important than U.S. Mail 4 business etc. Go to their so-called help forum youll see many many people who need help yet they are a rich, affluent company who

Agree, Yahoo! mail is crap. Especially recently. One example of my experience, Sent an important email with an attachment and didn’t see the failure to send notice until I opened my spam mail box days after. And the recipient says her email address is correct. And just today, it has acted up again! I’m leaving Yahoo! mail for good for Gmail.

  17. aidasidi - May 12, 2010 at 1:40 am

    both but GMAIL ROCKS

  18. AwesomeChaCha123 - May 12, 2010 at 1:51 am

Yahoo is not bad.. but my opinion is that Gmail is better.. There is lots of storages and it protects you from Spam.

Yahoo: avatars, chat with cute little phrases, decorative emails.

    They both r awesome.

  23. Xtrigit - May 12, 2010 at 5:19 am

Gmail is full of ads. :S

Google reads your email and that’s how they display ads.

Yahoo doesn’t read your emails, it displays a lot less ads than gmal does. Hotmail sucks. lol

Yahoo is the best free email service provider.

I use my own(non-free) email for business purposes.
