6) The blinds should slide easily into the brackets.  The lift cord should be on the right side of the window and the wand on the left side of the window.  (This may vary if you have motorized window blinds.)
7) Once the blinds are properly fitted into the brackets, place the end caps over the brackets and secure them with a few screws for stability.

The actual details of installing your window blinds will vary a bit depending on the style of window covering.  Wood blinds and faux wood blinds may require anchors and additional hardware because of their sheer weight.  If youâ??ve opted to add a decorative headrail or valence, those installation instructions will be separate from the window blind installation instructions.  Roman shades or blinds can be mounted not only inside or outside, but also from the ceiling.
