Are police offficers required to hand in their notebooks after a shift?
Or are they required to share what is written in their notebooks, with the other officers or their boss?
OK, So if they don’t have to . Heres the story. I was pulled over, well, I was parked, and the officer pulled up behind me, and I had open liquor in the car. He didn’t charge me with DUI, but I got a fine for the booze. Well the person on the next shift, know that?? He wrote down all my info, and my bf’s info, even that his licence was suspended. This is from a small detachment, 3 officers, and hes not a full time officer with this detachment, he was just a relief officer, will everyone in the detachment know about this incident? Because he left before anyone else was on duty. So I don’t know,,
