Gigabyte has launched its next-generation graphics accelerators, the GV-N28-1GH-B and GV-N26-896H-B, both aimed at providing a sophisticated level of 3D game rendering for enhanced game play.
The GV-N28-1GH-B is equipped with Nvidia’s latest GTX 280 graphics processor, 240 stream processors, and 1GB GDDR3 memory while the GV-N26-896H-B comes with GTX 260 graphics processor, 192 stream processors, and 896MB GDDR3 memory
Both graphics cards support Nvidia PhysX technology for a new class of physical gaming interaction and advanced Lumenex Engine technology for image quality and floating point accuracy at ultra-fast frame rates, the company said.
The graphics cards are also compliant with CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) technology said to speed-up demanding system tasks such as video transcoding delivering an up to 7x performance enhancement over traditional CPUs. They feature latest 16x Anti-aliasing technology for high-quality anti-aliasing up to 16x sample rates, which helps to eliminate jagged edges.
Other features of the cards include 3-way Nvidia SLI technology and support for DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0. The GV-N28-1GH-B is priced at Rs 49,425 and the GV-N26-896H-B at Rs 29,425. The cards are distributed by Avnet (India), Ingram Micro, and Redington.
